Program
Early
Spring
A fertilizer to replenish depleted nutrients from Spring
green-up and winter stress. Weed control and crabgrass control are
supplied if the seasonal timing is appropriate.
Spring
A balanced plant food formulated to protect the lawn from
common spring diseases. We will take our time to treat emerging weeds
and apply a second preemergent if necessary.
Disease
Control
There are many diseases that affect turfgrass plants during the growing
season. We will apply corrective fungicides in conjunction with good
cultural practices. (ie. proper fertilization, mowing, watering &
aeration.)
Early Summer
A balanced plant food to help rebuild food reserves going into the
summer. We will also treat emerging summer weeds including nutsedge and
crabgrass. *May require additional treatments.
Grub
Control
One of the most destructive insects in our area. We will apply a
preventative program in June or July to insure a grub-free
lawn.
Summer
A specially formulated plant food will be applied to help maintain turf
during any extended stressful periods. Any weeds will be taken care of
at this time.
Early Fall
A fertilizer to restore nutrients and encourage new root growth. Cooler
nights encourage new weed growth which our specialists will treat.
Core
Aeration and Overseeding
Soils readily compact and suffocate your grass plants. Core aeration
immediately increases the percentage of oxygen in the soil and literally
breathes life into your grass plants. Overseeding after an aeration is
an ideal way to improve density after a rough summer. This results
in a denser, healthier lawn.
Late Fall
A fertilizer that is specially blended to promote fall root development
and nutrient storage for winter survival.
